Mitt is richer than the past eight Presidents combined!!! And he still claims he doesn’t support the rich in America? Idiot!!!

WHO gives a shit? Honestly. Jealousy at it’s finest. It’s a GOOD thing that he’s ridiculously wealthy. 

The problem is not that Mitt Romney is wealthy, it’s that the fact that his wealth has clearly made him completely out of touch with people he’s trying to get to vote for him.

Only someone who has no fucking clue what it’s like to try and finance a college education would give the advice of “just borrow it from your parents”. That line, in itself, shows a complete lack of understanding of the type of people who GO to college. Not everyone is like Mitt Romney or his kids, we don’t have rich parents to pay for our educations. My parents aren’t going to fund my medical school expenses, instead I will have to take out private loans with exorbitant interests rates in order to fund it. THAT is my reality. THAT is the reality of practically everyone who wants to fund their college education themselves. People who were born with wealth will never experience that. Which is EXACTLY why Mitt Romney thinks we can just borrow the expenses from our parents. He thinks everyone who goes to college is just a step below him when that is not even close to the reality.

He thinks people who act as waitstaff for him at fancy parties make enough money to be considered middle-class. He jokes with people who have been unemployed for months that he, too is unemployed. He is so fucking out of touch.

I am not jealous of Mitt Romney’s money or his expensive ass dressage horse. I am not jealous of his money at all. I am truly indifferent to Mitt Romney’s wealth and how much it may be but what I’m NOT indifferent to is just how the fact that he’s wealthy, has always been wealthy, and will always be wealthy has seemed to make him completely unaware of the things people who have never and will never even come CLOSE to a fraction of what he makes. Mitt Romney isn’t the kind of person who probably even knows what the cost of college is let alone the price of milk.

I am not jealous of someone else’s wealth simply because I expect a certain level of awareness and empathy.

Lmao at the idiot who believes jealousy is the issue here. I’m glad he’s a great financier and knows how to uphold his affluence. However, I find it extremely outlandish that the president only pays 13% of taxes while the middle class and the lower classes pay more than 30%. Why aren’t the tax rates the same? And how is it this even practical that the poor pays more? And as part as the “99%”, we have to be prudent about Romney’s policies, are they to benefit himself & his buddies or to benefit America as a whole? And for the record, he did admit he has no plans to do anything about student education because we should just get “as much education as we can afford.” and that’s that. Being a college student and my education and future being the most important thing in my life at the moment, that one statement made me do a 180 on Romney. No thanks.
